We're thrilled to share that Penny Black has become accredited with the Scottish LGBTI+Rainbow Mark. We want to make it easy for our local LGBTI+ community (as well as visitors) to know they can feel safe and welcome in our stores and Post Offices. We hope that by displaying the Rainbow Mark in our stores, on our website and social media we can show our allyship to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people (LGBTI+).

This is - of course - more than just a sticker on a window for us at Penny Black; it's so important for us that we reflect these ethics in the culture we create as a business, how we treat our employees and the shaping of our business practices.

The Scottish LGBTI+ Rainbow Mark is an initiative to:

• Increase positive LGBTI+ visibility
• Provide information and tools to enable better LGBTI+ inclusion
• Reduce isolation and minority stress for LGBTI+ people
• Create more welcoming places in Scotland
• Reflect a genuine desire to recognise and respect LGBTI+ diversity and inclusion across Scotland
