Protests and Suffragettes is a creative project and social enterprise which recovers and celebrates the histories of women activists across Scotland.
This illustrated card features the slogan "love that overcometh", a phrase deeply associated with the British suffragette movement, specifically used to honour Emily Wilding Davison, a militant member of the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU) who died after being struck by King George V's horse at the 1913 Epsom Derby.
Blank inside for your own message, this quirky historical card is A6 sized and comes with a complementary envelope.
Information on the project is included on the rear of the card so you can send your well wishes along with some historical facts, too.
